Questions

What size does a civil service exam (cn) photo need to be?

295×413px, at 300 DPI.

What background colour is accepted?

White, Blue. The default we export is White.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes — keep it under 20 KB. We compress the JPEG to fit and tell you the final size.

How big should the head be in the frame?

Head height should be 60%–70% of the photo height. We crop to that automatically.

Can the photo be retouched?

Only in ways the specification allows: we replace the background with a plain colour, level and crop. Nothing is added or removed from your face.

What if it gets rejected?

If the authority rejects it on specification grounds, send us the rejection notice and we refund in full.
