What background colour is accepted?

Light grey, Off-white, White. The default we export is Light grey.

How big should the head be in the frame?

Head height should be 64%–76% of the photo height. We crop to that automatically.

Can the photo be retouched?

Only in ways the specification allows: we replace the background with a plain colour, level and crop. Nothing is added or removed from your face.

What if it gets rejected?

If the authority rejects it on specification grounds, send us the rejection notice and we refund in full.
